President’s Report

 

On Thursday October 21st we will be holding our Annual General Meeting.  When there are no controversial issues in a community it is easy to sit back and rely on others to get involved.  However there continues to be important issues that require community input.  Community events that are held throughout the year are the result of people devoting time to make them happen.  We need your attendance at this meeting to hear your input on community issues that matter to you.  Please plan to attend, give us your views, opinions and get involved.  Consider joining the executive, it’s your community.  

 

 

On Monday September 13^th we held an all candidates meeting co-sponsored by CCRA, West Rouge Community Association and Highland Creek Community Assoc.  The meeting was well attended with many questions posed to the candidates.  Monday October 25^th is voting day.  Remember this date and cast your ballot.  We have included a list of candidates for Councilors Ward 44, Toronto District School Board Trustee Ward 22 and Toronto Catholic District School Board Ward 8.

We now have someone to take over the position of newsletter distributor on the executive.  Ralph Jeffers has agreed to take  this position.  Ralph’s contact info is contained on the executive contact list.  Welcome Ralph.

Remember to mark October 21^st on your calendars and plan to attend our Annual General Meeting and consider serving on the executive.
